Journeys into the Disregarded (29th May – 3rd July 2010)
in conjunction with the Mead Gallery
Venue: Coventry Centre for Contemporary Art, front of Warwick Arts Centre
Opening Times: 10am - 6pm, Monday-Saturday
Journeys into
the Disregarded highlights the beauty found in the normalcy of
life. Lorsen Camps has invited artists and now students and the general
public to make short journeys from the University campus discovering
precious details of our surroundings that often go unnoticed. These will be documented through photography, poetry and the gathering of found objects.
The exhibition is within the Coventry
Centre for Contemporary Art - one of the large sheds which came out of
the Bob and Roberta Smith show at the Mead Gallery in 2009.
